The Apple Doesn't Fall Far from the Tree

We had a great Thanksgiving and I loved being at home with my family. Lily loved playing with my nephew Wyn and Landon out ate them both, of course. :) I captured a few pictures of our trip and I just love the one of Lily sitting at the computer. She put on my Mom's glasses and told me she was "busy tonight"...Busy growing up too fast, I believe! My Mom was begging me to take pictures of the kids in the rocking chair (a little wooden rocking chair that sits by the fireplace). I was only lucky enough to get Landon in the rocking chair (Lily was very busy, remember?). And I swear if he doesn't look just like Kevin, I don't know who does. He has the biggest blue eyes I've ever seen and was just cheesing tons for me. Lily loved Baby Oliver (my cousin Sarah's little boy) and holding him reminded me of just how big my kids are getting! We also visited the NC Aquarium while we were home. Lily and Landon just loved the otters. They were so cute trying to "play" with them through the glass. The otters would just swim back and forth and Lily would yell, "Here he comes, Mom!" every time one would start swimming by. She just wanted to make sure we didn't miss him. :)

After Thanksgiving, Kevin's brother and his family stopped by Wake Forest on their way home to Asheville and Lily was dying to hold Baby Kyle. She held him quite a few times and I loved her "baby talk". Can you tell they all have the Wilkinson blue eyes?

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the holidays! I am busy stressing about Christmas cards. But, that's a whole 'nother post. I will post the "bloopers" once I get the real picture. And boy are there a lot of bloopers! Kevin and I joked tonight that we should just send everyone a slideshow of all of the pictures. They are quite comical! :)
