Cheese & More Than One Meltdown
This weekend was great. We went out to dinner with our neighbors on Friday night and then went to Duke Gardens on Saturday morning with Carmen, Justin, and Daniel to take pictures of each other. We are both (equally) obsessed with our cameras and taking pictures (okay, so mine is still in the hands of Nikon, but they let us pretend that it wasn't). We were so excited because none of us had ever been to Duke Gardens. Honestly, I had seen one of the Bachelor's take his final two ladies there...but that is about as close to the gardens as I'd ever been. I guess I just assumed that it was like Elizabethan Gardens. Justin had spent four years attending Duke to get his Ph.D and STILL never went. Either way, we were there with bells on Saturday morning...dressed to a T. The boys wore navy blue polo's and khaki pants and Lily and I wore navy blue dresses. We didn't exactly choose the best time to go, so the sun was a bit bright. But, that wasn't the REAL problem. The real problem was that we had an 18-month old who did not want to sit still, smile when she was supposed to, or be even be held for that matter. Although she practices saying "cheese" all the time, she didn't want to put it to use when we needed her to. So, we ALL ended up going to the seminary in Wake Forest on Sunday for a retake. Here are a few pictures from the weekend of photo shoots! Thanks Carmen & Justin for being such great photographers!
