So, we didn't make it to the Pumpkin Farm on Sunday (it was WAY too cold!), but we did make it to Lily's first gymnastics class on Wednesday morning. We were so excited and all trhee of us (Landon was just along for the ride) got in the van and headed to Young's Gym! It was so surreal to be there because it reminded me of my cheerleading days...and I couldn't believe that I was there with MY daughter. Her hair, was of course, as high as possible on top of her head with a hot pink ribbon in it and I just looked at her and laughed...thinking only of my Manteo High School days. Being her not-so-shy self..she followed the "older" kids who were returning for another session of gymnastics at Young's Gym. Luckily, her buddy Daniel was in the class...and I think she certainly felt more comfortable because of that. Out of the nine kids in the class, three were boys and the other six girls. Three of the girls are named Lily! I was SO shocked. We don't know any other Lily's...so this was so surprising! We've always wanted to call Lily "Lily Kate" but it just never really stuck. Especially as a baby, because she was always called "Baby Lily"...and Baby Lily Kate was just too hard! So, I quickly offered to call her Lily Kate in class...so I'm secretly hoping it sticks this time! However, it was very hard for me to remember to call her that during class. I need to just practice it at home! :) Here are a few pictures from this week. She was very brave in the "swing" at gymnastics! Isn't Landon the cutest/chubbiest boy you've ever seen? Also, I added a picture of Lily when she was Landon's exact age. Can you tell they are brother and sister? Holy Wilkinson genes!!! We hope to get to the Pumpkin Farm this Sunday with some friends!
