Is it really the middle of November!?

Life:
I know times flies when you are having fun, but wow! I can't believe it is already mid-November. We have a busy next few weekends planned and I don't think we've had a spare minute since July 17th at 1:03 AM. :) Landon and Lily are still the angels I bragged about in my last few posts...and my husband is still putting up with my endless projects! Haha. He actually loves completing projects, so that definitely works in my favor. The past few projects have been the screen porch, deck, irrigation system, and sod. We haven't quite decided what the next one will be, but hopefully we'll be winning the lottery soon so they won't have to end!

Lily feels so grown and it makes me so proud and sad at the same time. She talks up a storm but understands a lot more than she can say. She is so happy and just full of life. Her brother has finally started "talking" back to her when she talks to him, so she thinks that is hilarious. She doesn't like to be very far from him, and I can only predict that she will be talking for the both of them. He will never have to talk because she will do plenty of it for them both. :)

Work:
I have loved working just part time and spending so much more time with my babies. Kevin says they are becoming way too much of a "mama's boy" and a "mama's girl"...but that's what I love! They won't be little for long enough, so it's wonderful to just savor every hug, kiss, and pout. Landon has almost exceeded his sister's weight. I weighed him last week and he weighed 19.5 lbs. and she weighed 20.5 lbs. So, he is quickly approaching her size. I just like to call him "big boned". :) He is just round like a butterball turkey! He loves being on his stomach and laughs out loud when you tickle him and smile. They are such happy babies and I am so thankful!
Pumpkin Patch: We headed to Hillridge Farms for a few hours of fun with our neighbors, Meredith and Mike and their little boy, Mikey. We had so much fun and Lily especially loved the farm animals and the big slide. The hayride was peaceful and after picking up and dropping several pumpkins, Lily finally settled on the perfect pumpkin! We ended up only getting three pumpkins because we didn't have enough hands to hold them and the kids.

Halloween:
Although Lily's ladybug hood didn't stay up very long (she was getting frustrated because she couldn't see very well), she did stay warm and got the hang of trick-or-treating after a few houses. When the person at the door would say "pick one"...she would grab two handfuls! It was funny and Daddy sure has enjoyed her candy! The only piece she was allowed to eat was a red sucker and you can see the remnants of that below on her face and the glass door! Landon was the cutest cow you've ever seen and stayed bundled up in the stroller. He feel asleep halfway down our street so probably won't remember much of his first halloween!

Here are a few pictures from the Pumpkin Patch, trick-or-treating on Halloween, and some others!
