Is it Not Me! Monday, again!?

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We certainly were not ready for it to be over! But, just like MckMama, I did not do a lot this week...

Last Monday, I was totally not surprised when Jason "broke up" with Melissa on national television (The Bachelor) and then proceeded to confess his unconditional love for Molly...who oh, by the way he had not seen since New Zealand? Not a chance. Thanks to Reality Steve, I already knew what was going to happen on the final show and the "After the Final Rose" show. I had so much respect for Jason and lost almost all of it because of the circumstances. Exactly like Melissa said, he stole that one time engagement from her. I was not ecstatic when I heard on the radio that she would be competing on Dancing with the Stars! Eat your heart our Jason and Molly!

When I went to Walgreens on Saturday to pick up a gallon of milk (nothing like waiting 'til the last minute!), I was surprised to find the place packed! Of course, the woman in front of me at the checkout had an entire cart full of about 10 things from every aisle. I was certainly not breathing loudly while I waited impatiently patiently for the cashier to finish the transaction. Her bill was $127 and some odd cents. Who really spends that much at Walgreens? THEN, she pulled out her coupons. They were in one of those pencil/pen bags that we used to put in the front of our binder (okay, so maybe I was the only one) FULL of coupons. I huffed and puffed as the cashier scanned the coupons one by one. "Where did you get all of those coupons?" I said hastily. "Oh, the Sunday newspaper," she added. She couldn't be serious. Her new totaly populated on the screen. "$7.45 is your total," the cashier chuckled. How in the world did she do that? I did not follow her like a puppy dog out to her car to wonder how in the world she saved over $120 dollars!? Although long-winded, I finally learned that she has a subscription to grocergame.com...I was not shocked one bit when I decided to purchase a subscription as well. And if you are wondering how it works...just go check it out. And if you are wondering how much I've saved? Well, today I bought 156 Huggies diapers for $9. Sure beats the Target brand, where I get 86 for $13.89. Thank you grocerygame.com - you are going to be my ticket to joining a pool this summer! ;)
And for those of you who go check it out...don't forget to put in my email address (susanbwilkinson@gmail.com) if they ask who referred you!

I was not ectastic one bit to get a few outings by myself this weekend with no kids in tow. I got my hair highlighted and my new hairdresser probably thought I was never allowed to leave the house! I was not the least bit talkative secretly hoping it would take her hours to do my hair. Next was to get the car washed. I have never been so happy and relaxed to be at Autobell in my life!

I most certainly did not take both babies to the lake this weekend with our good friends. We took them both out on the boat and I definitely did not slather them up with 60+ sunscreen and let them wear their bathing suits! Before we knew it, one baby was passed out on the boat floor wrapped in beach towels and shielded with a make-shift tent (it was actually my pink rain umbrella, but it worked!) while the other fell asleep sitting straight up in her Daddy's arm. It was so much fun!
