Both kids have red, itchy, goopy eyes because they are allergic to the pollen that has blanketed our world. A friend recommended that I try Children's Zyrtec for Lily because she was of age. It worked like a charm and she woke up with eyes wide open rather than glued shut. Landon, on the other hand, was not so lucky. I made a phone call to the nurses line at our pediatrician's office and when a nurse called me back, she let me know it was okay for me to give Landon the same dose of Zyrtec for his allergies. They are both fast asleep and I am hoping it will do the trick! We have been outside a lot lately, so I can completely understand why their allergies would be in full bloom right now. We (Kevin and I) don't suffer from them, so I was just very slow to even believe that they both have allergies. Hopefully, they will both wake up less itchy in the morning.

Allergic Rhinitis
We don't have anything exceptionally exciting going on in our lives. What? You don't think a 9-month old pulling up on everything he can get his fat little hands on and a two year old screaching at the top of her lungs when those hands come within an inch of whatever she is playing with at the time touch anything of hers is exciting? She does not mind sharing one bit, but Landon's progression of aggressiveness has come with his ability to climb, crawl, and stand on whatever is in his way. He especially loves to pull on her arms to pull himself up. She especially doesn't love this. I had to settle her screaches a few times this evening as Landon repeatedly pulled books and toys out of Lily's hands and laughed out loud when he got them. She is quickly learning that the space that used to be just hers is being invaded by a Mama's boy that doesn't know any better.
