So, today I took Lily and Landon to have their 24-month and 9-month well check at the pediatrician. They both did great, which was a tremendous help to me trying to juggle the both of them getting "checked out"...
Lily weighed 23.4 lbs. and is 33.25 inches tall. She is in the 10th percentile for weight. She'll thank me later for her skinny genes! She was so talkative to the nurse and doctor and was very cooperative. I will admit, it might have been the Motrin I had given her prior to us leaving for the doctor. But, the pretty sunshine could have had her feeling extra friendly today!
Landon weigh 22 lbs. 12 ounces and is 28.5 inches long/tall. He is just a tad behind his "big" sister! He is in the 80th percentile for weight and I love every single one of his chubby rolls. He clapped for the doctor and loved her stethoscope, which he tugged on the entire time she was looking at all of his "parts"...
When it was time for their shots (they only had to get one each!) the nurse sat them side by side. I leaned against Landon while he was sitting up (to make sure he didn't fall off the table) and held Lily's hands out of the way of the needle. She said to the nurse: "My turn!" (as if she was getting to do something fun) and I let her know exactly what the nurse was doing. She watched her give her the shot and I made such a huge deal of how cool her band aid was that she didn't even cry! When it was Landon's turn, they switched places and his was over just as fast. He had a delayed reaction, but nothing that a hug from Momma couldn't fix. I've got some tough babies!
Hope everyone enjoys this nice weekend!

So glad that the check-ups went well. I often think that the shots are worse for Mommy than the Baby :) It breaks my heart when they cry :( Tristan is in the 95th percentile for weight & height! He will be 4 months old on Saturday and weighs 17lbs and is 26in long! I love his rolls too, yay for chunky baby boys, lol! Take care :)
