In the middle of the night last week, out of desperation to go back to sleep, I most certainly did not give my daughter a pacifier with a built-in thermometer (from the first aid kit) in her room. She had come to our room to tell me she lost her passy. I would never be so desperate for sleep to do that! For the record, Kevin said he found it in the middle of her bed the next day. So, maybe I'm blind when I'm woken up in the night. It's possible!?
While cooking spaghetti last week, I had all of the ingredients in the pot and went to get the ketchup from the refrigerator and we had none! How in the world was I going to make my spaghetti without ketchup!? I definitely did not use about ten Chik-Fil-A ketchup packets from our drawer to complete my spaghetti. :) Sometimes you just gotta do, what ya gotta do!
My daughter totally did not say, "Landon Wilkson (she left out the "in" in our last name) go to timeout right now!" when he spilled their bowl of cheerios and yogurt covered raisins. I can't imagine where she has ever been told to go to timeout. And how does she know his last name? ;) Give the boy a break, it was an accident, sister!
More than once in the past week I have not taken my kids out in their PJs, while I was in my PJs to go through a drive through to get myself something to eat. When I step into my van without a bra on (okay, maybe thats TMI) I pray to God that I don't get pulled over and have to actually get out of the car. My next invention: drive through grocery stores. Kind of like the "Brew Thru's" on the Outer Banks. What I wouldn't give to drive through a Brew Thru and buy a gallon of milk! I think there would be a line of minivans/SUVs full of hungry/thirsty kids! I know I would be the first in line. :)
Make sure to check out McMama's blog to find out what she didn't do last week!

LOL! Hey they have Shop Rites (grocery store) up here where you order your food on line and pick it up on the curb! I haven't tried it though. I have an L name for you but it may not be your style:Lorelei, pronounced Lor-a-lie. I love it but my husband would never go for it. Nickname could be Lyla, could be too close to Lilly though.
sorry, Lily.
Oh, I do love it, but Kevin wouldn't like it. He is probably like Mike - he "knows" it when he hears (or in Kevin's case) sees it! Geeze! I never thought I'd have all "L's"...but then again, I don't want the third or fourth, if there is one...to be left out! Oh, decisions! Ha. If only that was my biggest worry in the world. :)
SUSAN CAROLINE!!!!! What do you mean you gave her a passy?! I happen to remember a certain post where a certain very lucky girl had a very good mommy that put time and money into a creative way to say "goodbye" to passies......
p.s. I could picture her saying "landon wilkson!" lol! too funny!
