At the entrance of our neighborhood, we have a "pumpkin patch" where a farmer and his family bring pumpkins, mums, etc. to sell every fall. We drive by the small fenced in area numerous times a day and Lily always reminds me that she sees lots of pumpkins. Since we (Lily and I) had just been to a real pumpkin farm last week, we decided we would just go the "pumpkin patch" to get the rest of our pumpkins. I made sure it was a big deal to the kids, mostly to make myself feel better about not taking Landon to a real farm. We let them run around and find their pumpkin though they were all Lily's favorite. Landon mostly wanted to climb up on the stands that the mums were on, ride around on the pull cart, and throw small pumpkins around (he thought they were balls, of course!). Lily was in awe at all the pumpkins and begged for two pumpkins. We let her pick them both out since Landon was preoccupied with getting his legs stuck in the planks while playing hide and seek with himself. You could hardly see his little head in between the large mums! We were the only brave souls out there (it was in the low 50's today!) so it was as if we had our very own pumpkin farm.
The sweetest kids ever.
Landon doesn't look very thrilled, but he absolutely loved it. He kept squeeling when Kevin would stop pulling the cart so I could take a non-blurry picture!

Adorable!! I loved that place, they always had something going on every season. I also love how your kids are wearing BIG winter coats- makes me feel better about our cold weather in PA:)
