After dinner, Lily noticed it was sprinkling and said, "Hey Mom. I have a really good idea!" (Usually, her ideas include ice cream or popsicles, so I just waited.) "We can put on our rain boots and our rain coats and then take our umbrellas outside in the rain!" Landon added his two cents by saying, "Yeah...boots!" Haha. So, what the heck...you only live once, just go dance in the rain. I was just hoping it wouldn't be pouring. It didn't, but they got some good umbrella time in. And for whatever reason it made them the happiest two kids on the block. Well, at least for the 10 minutes that it sprinkled. They were on to their Jeep and Gator after that. Oh, to be three and two again!
These kids can make any rainy day seem like a sunny one! :)
