Not me Monday!

Hi, folks! It's Monday...again and I have so much that I did not do and I can't wait to share!

We had a great weekend and I loved the fact that my husband let me sleep in on both Saturday and Sunday. I most certainly did not sleep until 12 PM on Sunday. That would be insane and I would be SO mad that I wasted the day away in my bed!

I definitely would not have given away (or maybe paid someone to take) my first born last week. She has certainly not grown to know it all in her short 22-months on the Earth. No, she would never act like a total leunatic at various times throughout the week. Hopefully, she does not know she is turning two soon. That would not help the situation!

After getting our federal tax refund directly deposited into our account on Friday, I totally did not have the sudden urge to go buy something big. At first, I was thinking about a boat. Then, I changed my mind to a tile backsplash (a little more economical in these uncertain times! ;)) My husband did totally not almost disown me in the tile store as I stood on the tile hour for at least an hour. I just could not decide! I must say, my impulse does not look like a million bucks! Thanks Kev!

Speaking of the economy (Eden, skip this paragraph!), I totally did NOT want to call the folks up who spoke to President Obama at a conference (the "McDonald's guy" and the "lady who lives in her car") and let them know this: We all have to work for what we have. The government does NOT owe you anything. If you need a job, go get one (http://www.monster.com/ has thousands of job openings - it might not be your dream job, but so what, it's a job!)...If you need a house, go get a job so you can go "get" (buy or rent) a house! People, it is not the government's job to "save" you. I have my own mortgage to pay, I should not have to pay yours, too! If I could afford two mortagages, I'd have a beach house!

I totally did not get the bill for Landon's ultrasound of his brain and almost cry because it was so expensive. Since when did working and paying for really good health insurance penalize you!? Maybe I should just call the Prez and let him know my bill was too high and I can't pay it. I'm she he would not volunteer to pay it! Seriously people, get a job OR don't, for all I care. I'm sick of paying for all of these people! Whew, my blood pressure is definitely not going up after writing that paragraph...

I have not been using Baby Orajel on myself this weekend because I was too lazy (yes, sue me) to go buy the real stuff. Why not? It does the same thing! Okay, so your mouth only stays numb for half a second...but it's enough to eat a meal! I totally did not almost have a heart attack when both of my babies woke up this morning with their eyes glued shut from "gunk"...I did not take them to the doctor only to find that they both have ear infections and Landon has the flu! The doctor also gave Lily some preventative medicine to keep her from getting the flu. They are totally not GREAT sports and awesome cuddlers when they don't feel good. I secretly love it. Not the part about them being sick, but the fact that they want me to hold them all the time! I absolutely can NOT wait for my husband to get home today. Only one hour and thirteen minutes. I'm totally not counting. :)

Now, go check out MckMama's blog to see what she did not do this week. It's free therapy!

Hahaha- I don't agree with everything Obama does ;) I wish I could get health insurance for my husband for less than $1000 a month. Yep you read that right.

Maybe I need to holla at mah'boy, huh? ;)
